The president of The ETF Store, Inc., Nate Geraci, disclosed data on the X platform showing that the iShares Bitcoin ETF, a BlackRock spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund, has attracted approximately $20.5 billion in assets since its launch in 2024. Among the 375 new ETFs launched in 2024, the second largest non-spot BTC ETF has only attracted around $1.3 billion in inflows. IBIT, FBTC, ARKB, and BITB, which are spot Bitcoin ETFs, have become the four largest exchange-traded fund products launched in 2024.

According to Odaily, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas released a chart on August 13th showing that US Bitcoin spot ETFs currently hold 909,700 BTC, which is worth approximately $55.1 billion based on the current price of around $60,500 per BTC. These BTC holdings are approaching the 1.1 million BTC held by Satoshi Nakamoto. On average, Bitcoin spot ETFs are accumulating around 37,510 BTC per month, and at this rate, they are likely to surpass Satoshi's holdings as early as January, which will be one year after the launch of these ETFs. Balchunas believes that the ETFs' BTC holdings may even exceed Satoshi's as early as October.

According to data disclosed by Bitcoin Magazine, BlackRock and Fidelity's spot Bitcoin ETFs currently hold a total of 524,390 BTC, worth $31.6 billion, which means that out of a total of 21 million Bitcoins, more than 500,000 BTC belong to just these two ETFs.

According to SoSoValue data, the total net inflow of Bitcoin spot ETFs was $38.94 million on August 13th (Eastern Time). Yesterday, the Grayscale ETF GBTC had a net outflow of $28.65 million, and the total historical net outflow of GBTC is $19.49 billion. The Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF BTC had a net outflow of $0.00 on the day, and the total historical net inflow of the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust BTC is $274 million. The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's ETF IBIT, with a net inflow of $34.55 million, and the total historical net inflow of IBIT has reached $20.37 billion. The next was Fidelity's ETF FBTC, with a net inflow of $22.56 million, and the total historical net inflow of FBTC has reached $9.75 billion. As of the time of writing, the total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $55.34 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market capitalization to total Bitcoin market capitalization) has reached 4.63%, with a cumulative historical net inflow of $17.41 billion.
