WisdomTree requests to withdraw Ethereum Trust S-1 registration filing with SEC

According to Mars Finance, asset management company WisdomTree requested to withdraw the Ethereum Trust S-1 registration document submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and requested that the fees be credited as "future use." The registration statement was originally submitted on May 27, 2021. In a document submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on September 6, the company stated: "The Company confirms that it has not and will not issue or sell any securities pursuant to this registration statement." WisdomTree acknowledged that it would not refund the fees paid to the U.S. SEC for submitting the registration statement, but requested that the amount be recorded as a "credit for future use."
