According to ChainCatcher, CryptoQuant analyst Burak Kesmeci pointed out in a report on September 12 that Ethereum (ETH)'s financing rate needs to rise above 0.015 to confirm a possible significant price increase signal. The current financing rate is about 0.0056%, which is comparable to the level in September last year.
"The rise in funding rates is crucial to observe healthy growth in the bull market. The support of the futures market plays a major role in this rise," Kesmeci said.
