After the shooting incident, Trump's campaign team issued a statement saying that Trump is currently safe.

According to informed law enforcement sources, when Trump was playing golf that day, an armed man appeared near the golf course, and the Secret Service agents shot at the armed suspect for protective purposes, and the suspect fled by car and was later arrested.
