3. MakerDAO rebranding - Sky (formerly MakerDAO) will launch a new governance token and stablecoin on Sept. 18. $MKR will be upgraded to a new token $SKY at a 1:24,000 rate

4. Token2049 crypto conference - One of the largest annual crypto conferences starts on Sept. 18. Expect a lot of projects that participate to announce some big things in the following days

5. World Liberty dApp launch - Donald Trump will launch his crypto project World Liberty on Sept. 16. World Liberty seems to be a DeFi project built on AAVE

6. Sonic’s major announcement - Sonic (formerly Fantom) has teased a massive announcement for next week during the TOKEN2049 crypto event. TOKEN2049 starts on Sept. 18

7. Eigenlayer Season 2 Airdrop - Claiming for Eigenlayer's Season 2 airdrop will open on September 17. It’s unclear though when the EIGEN token will finally become transferable

8. Treasure DAO's proposal for zkSync deployment - Treasure DAO's proposal to launch its L2 on zkSync will go live on Sept. 17. Treasure is one of the largest web3 gaming ecosystems

9. Dusk Mainnet launch - Dusk, a privacy L1 blockchain focused on compliance, will launch its mainnet on Sept. 20

This Week’s Airdrop Opportunity🪂

Provide liquidity to Meteora

Meteora is a Solana dApp that is operated by the team behind Jupiter.

Jupiter is responsible for one of the best airdrops on Solana, and that’s the main reason why I find this opportunity interesting.

Meteora team confirmed that they released a points program a while ago, but users can't see their points on the UI in order to avoid attracting too many airdrop farmers.

There are 2 main ways to farm this airdrop:

• Provide stablecoins to Meteora’s Dynamic Liquidity Market Maker Pools (DLMM Pools) - which are basically concentrated liquidity pools

• Deposit SOL, SOL liquid staking tokens, or stables to its Dynamic Vaults (to essentially lend your tokens)

You can provide a lot of tokens to its DLMM Pools, but I recommended depositing stablecoins to avoid being affected by impermanent loss.
