There are rumors that wallets associated with Banana Gun , a crypto trading bot on Telegram, are being drained of funds.
Users are advised to withdraw funds immediately as a precautionary measure until further notice.
Banana Gun Users Are in Danger
Banana Gun is a popular tool for automating cryptocurrency transactions directly on Telegram, allowing users to make quick trades with little effort. According to several community reports, wallets associated with the bot have been drained of funds in the past few hours.
“We are investigating the issue, the bot is currently down,”
Banana Gun group wrote .
However, some sources suggest that the bot itself may not have been hacked, as the number of victims remains limited.
“It looks like there are 36 victims with almost 563 ETH stolen so far on mainnet. The last one was drained an hour ago, but there are rumors that the drain started on SOL too. I don't think Banana Gun itself was hacked, there just aren't enough victims,”
