It’s the 62nd edition of the Gems Corner, and today, we’ll be looking at a few fast-emerging projects I’m bullish on Solana, and other alphas.

The past week was eventful as I attended the Token2049 and BreakPoint2024 conferences in Singapore. Both conferences were exciting, especially BreakPoint2024, mainly because project founders could share what they were cooking, upgrades, and upcoming launches.
I want to share some projects I’m bullish on based on fundamentals, upgrades, and narratives from the talks.
I shared them on X earlier this week, but I’ll be digging a little deeper into what makes them thick (in no particular order). Plus, these are not the only projects I’m excited about on Solana.
Roam is a DePIN that revolutionizes connectivity with a decentralized global WiFi network, offering seamless OpenRoaming and rewarding users for every connection worldwide.
They made three big announcements, but the one that interests me most is the launch of the Roam eSIM. The eSIM will provide access to over 400 networks worldwide, and users can earn up to 50 MB of free data every day just by checking in on the Roam App.
Sanctum is a liquid staking protocol on Solana that enables users who stake SOL natively or with a liquid staking token (LST) to tap into a robust unified liquidity layer.
They had two big announcements on BreakPoint2024: Sanctum Creator Coins and Cloud Card. The Cloud Card is my favorite. It’s an SOL debit card that allows users to spend SOL and stables in over 100 different countries. The card was created in partnership with Jupiter Exchange and BasedApp.
With a recent $12M round led by Multicoin Capital, Project Zero aims to use token incentives to drive the installation of distributed energy sources and shift consumption patterns.
In simple terms, they’re building the largest decentralized renewable energy network. They hinted about two main things: the Fuse Energy App and the Fuse Installer Marketplace, both of which aim to drive market penetration and adoption.

DIA announces ‘Lumina’, a brand-new oracle network, reimagined from scratch.
Lumina is a trustless oracle network that delivers data feeds for any token, LST, RWA, random numbers, and more to any blockchain.
DIA Lumina is composed of state-of-the-art modular components such as Zero-Knowledge technology, a cross-chain messaging protocol, ETH scaling solutions and more.
The network is permissionless, enabling nodes and stakers to participate in distributed data sourcing, secured by crypto-economic and cryptographic mechanisms.
DIA Lumina’s native Ethereum L2 rollup, ‘Lasernet’, executes all critical oracle operations, ensuring trustless computation and full verifiability.
As the name implies, deBridge is a cross-chain interoperability and liquidity transfer protocol that allows for the transfer of assets across chains.
They announced the launch of a zero-TV intent-based model for bridging and native Bitcoin trading on Solana via deBridge’s cross-chain infrastructure. Plus, they’re launching the $DPR token in October—good news for farmers.
Known as the first PayFi network, the Huma protocol is powering the financing of global payments with instant access to liquidity anywhere, anytime.
I’m particularly intrigued by their growth—they have already processed $1.9B in PayFi transactions, growing 10% monthly with zero credit defaults. Plus, they are building on the intersection of two narratives: RWA and PayFi.
Zeus is essentially the first and only permissionless communication layer on Solana and Bitcoin’s first dApp.
They announced a couple of products, but my interests are in two major products: Apollo, for depositing BTC to earn yield on Solana, and ZeusScan, for exploring Bitcoin Solana interactions. I love that they’re exploring Bitcoin use cases on Solana.

CZ was finally released today after serving 119 days in prision. Bullish sign.
