The phishing perpetrator then quickly converted the stolen assets into safe assets by directly swapping the DETH for ETH through Swap. However, due to the shallow depth of the DETH pool, 14,079 DETH was only exchanged for 2,288 ETH. The pool was completely drained, causing the DETH/WETH to become highly unpegged. The value of the stolen assets was directly reduced by 85%: from US$35.98 million to US$5.5 million.
