Uniswap Foundation provides Areta with $1.2 million to create the Uniswap Foundation Security Fund

Foresight News reported that the Uniswap Foundation provided a $1.2 million grant to Areta to create the Uniswap Foundation Security Fund. The Security Fund aims to enhance the security and integrity of the Uniswap v4 hook developer community by improving the accessibility of security audits. By creating a marketplace that allows vetted providers to compete, the process of auditing is simplified, enabling smaller projects to also access security audit services. The Uniswap Foundation Security Fund launched by Areta will run for 6 months, including a whitelist of security audit providers (2 months): Areta will identify and list security audit providers on a whitelist, forming a curated pool of high-quality security service providers. Running the application process and managing the grant fund (4 months): Areta will manage the application process for security service providers and grant applicants.
