Bitcoin reached a new all-time high of around $77,200 around 4 AM this morning, setting a new record for the fourth consecutive day, while Ethereum is approaching the $3,000 mark, with gains exceeding those of Bitcoin. Under the continued Trump effect, the three major U.S. stock indexes also hit new highs.

The Trump effect continues to ferment, and Bitcoin, which was fluctuating between $75,600 and $76,500 yesterday (8th), began to surge upward after 1 AM this morning, breaking through $77,000 by 3:30 AM, reaching a high of $77,200. Since Trump's victory, Bitcoin has set a new all-time high for four consecutive days.
It has retreated slightly to $76,383 before the deadline, with a 24-hour gain of 0.31%.
Ethereum's rise has been even more fierce, climbing to $2,995 around 9 AM this morning, a new high in more than 3 months. It is currently trading at $2,984.55, up nearly 2% in the last 24 hours.
Top 10 Tokens Broadly Bullish
The top 10 tokens by market cap are also broadly bullish, with ADA seeing the largest gain of 4.8% in the last 24 hours.
- SOL briefly touched $205 last night, but has retreated below $200 before the deadline, down 0.4% in the last 24 hours
- BNB has broken through $600, reaching a high of $624.77, up 2.3% in the last 24 hours
Over $215 Million in Liquidations in the Past 24 Hours
With the volatile rise in Bitcoin, data from Coinglass shows that over $215 million in crypto positions were liquidated in the past 24 hours, with long and short liquidations roughly equal, affecting over 91,000 traders.
It is worth noting that in addition to the top 10 tokens by market cap, the token with the highest liquidation amount in the last 24 hours was $Drift, which was listed on Upbit yesterday and has surged over 200%.
The Three Major U.S. Stock Indexes Hit New Highs
In the U.S. stock market, the three major indexes hit new highs with modest gains, with Tesla continuing to rise 8.19%:
- The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 259.65 points or 0.59% to close at 43,988.99
- The S&P 500 index rose 22.44 points or 0.38% to close at 5,995.54
- The Nasdaq Composite index rose 17.32 points or 0.09% to close at 19,286.78
