After predicting on the 9th that "BTC will return to $58,000,"
"BTC will start a bearish trend after a year-end rally"
As BTC continues to set new highs, breaking through $81,000, Joo Gi-young, CEO of Cryptoquant, has been drawing significant attention by persistently expressing a pessimistic view on BTC.
On the 10th, CEO Joo posted on his X account that "although I expected a large correction due to the overheating of the BTC futures market, BTC has entered a bullish phase. The market is heating up, and the bullish trend may continue, but the strong year-end rally may actually lead to a bearish market in 2025."
The CEO's comment is a response to the "controversial post" he made on the 9th. On the 9th, Joo posted, "There is one day left," and "I expect (BTC) to reach $58,974, and I hope I'm wrong," which sparked a lot of discussion both inside and outside the market.
Contrary to Joo's prediction, BTC continued to rise on the 10th, gaining about 4%, and Joo directly responded to this.
BTC is currently maintaining its "unstoppable" upward trend, breaking through the all-time high of $81,523 around 10:55 am on the 11th.
