
Web3Labs, a leading incubator in the Web3 field, joined hands with MetaEra and Techubnews to officially hold the opening ceremony of its Web3Labs HK Center in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong on November 11. To further promote the development of Web3 technology in Hong Kong, Web3Labs has established a brand-new offline Web3 industry base - Web3Labs HK Center. Rooted in Hong Kong, Web3Labs HK Center will focus on developing the Web3 industry in Hong Kong, leveraging Hong Kong's unique geographical location, financial advantages, and open business environment to apply Web3 technology to a wider range of fields, providing support and assistance to more entrepreneurs, and promoting the more robust development of the entire industry.

The event officially kicked off at 4 pm. Mr. WONG Wai-lun, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Mr. XU Weigong, Director of the Economic Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Dr. WU Jiezhuang, National Committee Member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Legislative Council Member of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and other distinguished guests attended the event and delivered inspiring speeches. Among them, Mr. WONG Wai-lun stated that Hong Kong has unique advantages in the field of financial technology, including strong financing capabilities, a sound financial system, a mature ecosystem, and abundant talent resources. Dr. WU Jiezhuang also introduced to the participating guests that Hong Kong is fully capable of becoming the Web3 center of Asia and even the world. At the same time, Web3 involves not only virtual assets but also frontier technologies such as blockchain, AI, and XR. Hong Kong will provide young people with ample development space and promote the rapid development of the Hong Kong Web3 industry.

At the opening ceremony, Web3Labs also announced that it will join hands with the TON Foundation to launch a global acceleration program focusing on Web3 technology innovation on the TON platform. The acceleration program will officially start the project recruitment on November 11. In this acceleration program, the two parties will work together to incubate innovative project teams with high-quality resources. The selected projects will receive TON ecosystem traffic support and investment opportunities from Web3Labs. This acceleration program will focus on recruiting 5 tracks: , , DePin, , and Game. Among them, the first global "Roaming to Earn" decentralized traffic revenue network project - AISIM was also showcased to the guests at the opening ceremony.

At the end of the event, the guests engaged in in-depth exchanges and interactions, jointly exploring the future development trends and challenges of Web3 technology. Web3Labs CEO HUANG Junlong also stated that the Web3Labs HK Center is not only an important step in Web3Labs' global layout, but also a sign that Hong Kong will take more solid steps in the development of the Web3 industry.
