Odaily Planet Daily Report: BonkDAO recently burned 100 billion circulating BONK and plans to burn 1 trillion BONK before Christmas in December. This large-scale burning plan (BURNmas) will start at 12:01 AM UTC on November 15 and end at 12:01 AM UTC on December 24. The amount of BONK accumulated by the BONK community through various activities will be burned at 12:01 AM UTC on December 25. BONK core contributor @iamkadense posted that 7.7 trillion BONK have been burned, and the daily burning amount is still increasing. In addition to the recent 100 billion BONK burned, 1 trillion BONK will be burned during BONKmas, and the community may not stop there. These burned tokens will come from applications in the Solana ecosystem that utilize BONK to achieve one or more functions. According to the official post, these include burning from staking on Dragontail, sending Christmas cards using BONKmark, transactions on LiveBonk, and other applications specified by BONK X accounts.
