Survey: OpenAI ranks fourth among top tech vendors where IT leaders surveyed plan to invest most

Odaily Planet Daily Report: According to a survey of 800 IT leaders from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia conducted by software asset management company Flexera, the report on IT priorities for 2025 has been released. The survey focused on how IT decision-makers will set priorities for the coming year. Among the top technology providers, 37% of the surveyed IT leaders said they are currently or will be investing the most in next year. This artificial intelligence research institute ranks fourth, tied with Oracle, after Microsoft, Google, and Amazon Web Services. It is the first time has appeared as an option in the survey. Participants were also able to select multiple options. The report states that is able to occupy the top four positions because it can collaborate with enterprises and allow employees to build custom AI solutions, giving the company a "competitive advantage in the AI consulting field." The survey also found that 42% of IT leaders said that integrating AI would bring the greatest change to their organization, while 26% and 25% of respondents believed it could reduce security risks and lower IT costs, respectively.
