After a 30-minute intense bidding with the participation of 6 people, Justin Sun, the founder of TRON, emerged victorious with a price of $6.2 million.
Immediately after the auction, Justin Sun shared his pride on X (formerly Twitter):

Sun also revealed plans to eat the banana in the artwork to recreate a unique artistic experience, while honoring the work as a symbol of art and popular culture.
"Comedian" and the journey to becoming an art icon
The "Comedian" artwork first gained attention in 2019 when a similar banana was sold for $120,000 at the Art Basel event. Notably, the performing artist David Datuna ate this banana and named his performance "Hungry Artist".
