Elon Musk confirms X is preparing to launch remittances feature in its X Payments service

Foresight News reported that Elon Musk confirmed in a response to a social media post by podcast giant JOE Rogan, who had a dollar sign icon on his profile, that X is preparing to launch a remittance feature in its X Payments service. X Payments LLC has obtained money transmitter licenses in most U.S. states (excluding New York), laying the groundwork for integrating payment services on the platform. The planned peer-to-peer transaction feature aims to increase user engagement by enabling direct remittances within the platform. While details about potential cryptocurrency integration have not been confirmed, the community speculates that Dogecoin, given Musk's long-standing support for it, may be included. Foresight News previously reported that X Payments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Musk's X, has obtained a money transmission license in Oklahoma, and has now accumulated money transmission licenses in 37 U.S. states.
