There has been a lot of discussion about AI recently, $GOAT is like a fire, igniting everyone's attention to AI and also inspiring practitioners to explore AI projects.
$GOAT is an AI Meme, but in fact, AI has gone far beyond just Meme, with a variety of types of track projects emerging one after another. This article will sort out the current classification of the AI track and key projects, helping you to fully understand the development of this track.
First, since the hottest AI is still in the Solana and Base ecosystems, we will organize the AI-related projects according to the following classification:
1- Layer1s: These projects are not the Layer1 we usually talk about, but have properties like "Layer1", where third parties can develop secondary applications such as Agent, Launchpad based on their framework. The main ones are ai16z, zerebro, and EMP;
2- AI Launchpad: Representing asset issuance platforms or tools, the main ones on Solana are VVAIFU, HAT, ALCH; on Base are Virtuals, Clanker, Higherrrrrrr (will have AI in the future).
3- AI Agent: Mainly referring to application-type AI projects, there are quite a few related projects, and most of the projects people are talking about actually belong to this category. The current trend is that there are more and more AI Agents, because it's too easy to create a chatbot by skinning, but we only list a few of the hotter projects such as DEGENAI, BULLY, AIXBT, LUNA, ACT, AVA, etc.;
4- AI Meme refers to pure Meme tokens related to AI, mainly including GOAT, Fartcoin, "", CHAOS, ANON, etc.
5- What the hell is this?: The last category, due to my limited ability, I can't quite understand what they are doing, but they are also related to AI and have some heat, such as TSOTCHKE, etc., so for now I classify them as "What the hell is this?" category.

ai16z:
First of all, ai16z is not an AI project itself, it is actually an AI-related DAO fund. Their idea is that they believe Marc Andreessen of a16z is a very good crypto investor, and the AI version of Marc AIdreessen's investment performance will be even better. This organization has developed a framework called Eliza.
Eliza is a powerful multi-agent simulation framework aimed at creating, deploying and managing autonomous AI agents. It provides a flexible and scalable platform for developing intelligent agents that can interact across multiple platforms while maintaining consistent personality and knowledge. Eliza is not only on Solana, it has expanded to Base, Aptos and will expand to Near, Avalanche and others in the future.
The project's open source github has already attracted many well-known developers in the industry, and its fork/star has been among the top 3 on Github recently.
They have recently launched a new website and proposed ElizaOS, which is an open source protocol that provides support for the autonomous AI agent Eliza and serves as the foundation for ai16z.
Finally, it is worth noting that 5% of the tokens of all AI projects developed based on Eliza will be given to the ai16z DAO fund, which is also the reason why many people are bullish on $AI16Z.

First, we need to briefly understand what AGI is. This concept has been mentioned more and more, and it is also what zerebro and ai16z's shaw want to achieve. Simply put, the AI Agents we see now mostly belong to ANI (weak artificial intelligence), simple and limited in level, such as Siri, AlphaGo, ChatGPT, while AGI is a super AI with cross-domain, cross-platform capabilities, with consciousness and emotions.

But the potential of AGI is still at the theoretical stage, and the closed-source of many large companies has also hindered the development of AGI. Zerebro is committed to becoming the connection point. Zerebro breaks through this limitation and releases the potential of the model by "liberating" its large language model and using non-traditional datasets for fine-tuning.
Zerebro introduces a diverse range of data sources, including conversation records from Truth Terminal, Gen Z slang, content scraped from platforms like Reddit, 4chan and Twitter, etc. for training. This project has attracted attention mainly because of $AIXBT, aixbt chatted with a project called SimulacrumIO and issued a token called "$CHAOS", and then due to the burning mechanism, $CHAOS became popular, so people started to pay attention to SimulacrumIO, and then to Empyreal ($EMP).
