Odaily Odaily News: Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining company MARA announced on the X platform that it has purchased 11,774 BTC worth approximately $1.1 billion using funds from the issuance of zero-interest convertible notes, achieving a BTC yield of 12.3% QTD and 47.6% YTD. As of December 9, 2024, it holds 40,435 BTC, which is currently worth $3.9 billion based on the spot BTC price of $96,500.

Odaily Planet Daily Report: Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms disclosed on <X platform> that as of November 30, 2024, it holds 11,425 Bitcoins, worth over $1 billion. Previously, Riot Platforms announced that it plans to raise $500 million through the issuance of convertible preferred notes, and the company intends to use the net proceeds from this issuance to purchase additional Bitcoins and for general corporate purposes.

Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market suddenly spiked after a downward trend. 

At around 12:00 AM Beijing time on December 10th, BTC fell back to $94,355.91 in the short term, but then quickly rebounded to $96,400, a process that lasted about 10 minutes.
