The BlockTempo editorial team conducts extensive industry data collection, investigation, and personal interviews starting from October each year. The "Tempo 30 Awards" is a gift to the blockchain industry, aiming to recognize the outstanding contributions made by these influential figures to Taiwan's Web3 ecosystem over the past year.

Tempo 30 Awards Community Voting Begins

In the 7th edition of the "Tempo 30 Awards" entering 2025, we have further added the Hong Kong region to the existing industry influence rankings and KOL rankings, bringing the industry a more comprehensive and influential selection.

The biggest highlight this year is that the Tempo 30 Awards official website has officially added a community voting function. Each account has 5 votes per day in each ranking (an additional 5 votes can be obtained by sharing on social media), allowing readers to freely nominate and vote for the Web3 leaders they believe are outstanding.

Explanation of the Tempo 30 Awards Scoring Mechanism

• First Stage: Community Nomination & Data Collection, October 18 - December 22
  • Open for the community to freely nominate leaders who have contributed to the Taiwan blockchain industry

  • Industry Influence Ranking Criteria:
    • 30% Industry Expert Selection: Invite experts in the blockchain field to score the candidates based on their contributions, achievements, and influence.
    • 30% BlockTempo editorial team will comprehensively evaluate the leader's technical development, community influence, and regulatory promotion through multiple rounds of voting.
    • 40% Community Influence
      • 30% Community Voting: The number of votes will be one of the selection criteria, with each user able to cast five votes per day (an additional 5 votes for sharing on social media).
      • 10% Post Score: Score based on the candidate's level of activity in posting on social media platforms, with higher activity resulting in a higher score.
  • KOL Ranking Criteria:
    • 70% Community Influence
      • 20% Repost Count: Evaluate the number of reposts of content on social media platforms, including X (Twitter), Instagram (IG), Telegram (TG), Threads, Facebook (FB), and YouTube (YT Committee).
      • 40% Community Voting: The number of votes will be one of the selection criteria, with each user able to cast five votes per day (an additional 5 votes for sharing on social media).
      • 10% Post Score: Score based on the candidate's level of activity in posting on social media platforms, with higher activity resulting in a higher score.
    • 30% Industry Expert Selection: Invite experts in the blockchain field to score the candidates based on their contributions, achievements, and influence.
  • Hong Kong Ranking
    • Coming Soon, the voting for this ranking is expected to start on January 1 next year, please stay tuned for the release of the detailed rules.

• Third Stage: Result Calculation and Verification / Material Collection
  • 60% Industry Expert Selection: Industry experts in the blockchain field will evaluate the candidates' contributions to the Web3 industry and their future influence.
  • 40% Community Performance: The social media voting scores from the second stage will be used as the scoring basis for this stage.
• Ranking Release: BlockTempo will release the ranking on January 1, 2025, and will also share the key market predictions and trend observations of the most influential figures for the coming year.

Tempo 30 Awards Nomination Criteria

Candidates who meet any of the following qualifications can be nominated for the "Tempo 30 Awards":

• Qualification 1: The candidate holds a Taiwan or Hong Kong passport and has a huge influence and reputation in the ranking market
• Qualification 2: The candidate's "company, brand or community" (not necessarily owning a local passport) has a huge influence and reputation in the ranking market:
  • The technology or application they have developed has outstanding performance in the market
  • They have a strong brand presence and lead the continuous development of the industry
  • They are closely connected with the local crypto community, continuously enhancing the visibility of the blockchain industry through education and support
