Foresight News reported that the EVM-compatible blockchain network Monad announced the establishment of the Monad Foundation, an independent organization dedicated to encouraging the development and adoption of the Monad blockchain protocol, with the aim of further promoting the decentralization of the Monad protocol and ecosystem.
Monad Labs will continue to exist as a software development and research company related to the underlying technology of the Monad blockchain protocol, under the new name Category Labs, led by James Hunsaker as the Chief Executive Officer.
