On the other hand, the report shows that venture-backed tokens have not met expectations, indicating a shift in investor sentiment. The industry is seeing a new atmosphere where transparency and sustainability are the new cool, overtaking the old speculative bubble. RWA tokens led by OM have also garnered attention, reflecting the community's love for projects with real-world appeal. The report attributes the year-end market rally to major macroeconomic events, such as the launch of a spot Bitcoin ETF and the U.S. presidential election. Looking ahead to 2025, the report predicts a thriving future for various cryptocurrency sectors. BTC's price is expected to reach $210,000 due to the involvement of large participants and its increasing importance as a reserve asset. The ETH/BTC ratio is predicted to rebound to 0.05, and SOL is expected to reach $1,000. In the DeFi space, Presto foresees DEXes gaining more attention, potentially accounting for over 20% of CEX trading volume by the end of 2025. Furthermore, the report forecasts that with the mainstream adoption of stablecoins, smart contract platforms, and increased participation by large institutions, the total cryptocurrency market capitalization could reach $7.5 trillion by 2025.
