According to Crowdfundinsider, the cryptocurrency payment service provider MoonPay has obtained a money transmission license from the Texas Department of Banking in the United States, allowing it to provide remittance services.
MoonPay allows residents of the state to purchase 64 different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and SOL, using Venmo and PayPal on its platform. The company plans to expand its services in Texas by 2025, enabling residents to sell cryptocurrencies as well.
