What is HyperGrid?
HyperGrid is a specialized coordination and scaling rollup system on the Solana ecosystem, designed to enable the blockchain to achieve near-infinite transaction throughput by allowing horizontal scaling, while still ensuring the decentralization and security of the network.

- Receive and Process Transactions: Transactions are sent to the Grid and processed there. The Grid is responsible for performing the calculations and creating the transaction state changes.
- State Compression: The changes to the transaction state will be aggregated and compressed into a Merkle Tree. All transactions are compressed into compact data blocks, called Merkle Roots, to reduce the size and facilitate easy verification later.
- Proof Generation: Each Grid will create a proof to demonstrate that the transactions and states in the block have been processed correctly. With each new block, the state is updated and a new root is created, representing the state of the entire Grid at that time.
- Proof Verification: The proofs from the Grids will be sent to the HSSN for verification and to ensure there are no state conflicts. HSSN checks the proofs to detect fraud using a sampling method.
- Data Submission to Layer-1: HSSN sends the verified proofs to the Solana layer-1 for final confirmation through the verification program on the Solana network.
Each Grid can develop its own Merkle compression mechanism and proof generation, as long as it complies with HSSN's requirements. This allows the Grids to be customized to achieve even higher performance or to fit the specific goals of each development team.
