Sonar supports real-time online connectivity to obtain answers from reliable sources, to enhance accuracy and authority. The API is divided into the basic version Sonar and the advanced version Sonar Pro, the basic version costs $5 per 1,000 searches, with $1 charged for every 750,000 characters of input and output; the Pro version charges $3 for input and $15 for output, supporting complex questions and more citations. Companies like Zoom have already used Sonar to provide real-time search support for their AI assistants, without users needing to leave the video conference window.
