Binance founder CZ (Changpeng Zhao) disclosed his cryptocurrency investment portfolio on the Binance Square for the first time yesterday (24th) in response to community requests. The portfolio data shows:
- His largest position is the Binance platform token BNB, accounting for 98.51% of his holdings
- The second largest is Bitcoin, but the holding ratio is only 1.32%
- Finally, there is a small amount of EURI, accounting for 0.17%.

CZ: I am a boring person
Regarding CZ's holdings, some netizens asked why CZ only allocated about 1% of his funds to Bitcoin in his portfolio. CZ replied that he is a boring person, implying that he is not a frequent trader, and holding BNB and holding BTC may be the same to him.
However, it should be noted that this data only represents CZ's holdings on Binance, and may not represent his entire holdings, as he may have stored a certain amount of cryptocurrency in a cold wallet. But he did not explain this in detail.

Regarding the $EURI in his portfolio, CZ responded that he could not remember the source of this fund, but guessed it might be related to the Binance Card:
Maybe in the early days of the Binance Card, that was the currency used for spending? Not too sure.
Note: $EURI is a euro stablecoin compliant with the European Crypto Asset Law (MiCA) within the European Economic Area (EEA), issued by Banking Circle, and officially listed on Binance on August 28, 2024.
How many BNB does CZ hold?
According to a report by Forbes last June, CZ's main asset is the BNB he holds. At the time, Forbes estimated that CZ owns 90% of Binance's equity, and Binance holds 71% of the circulating BNB supply of 147.5 million.
Therefore, it is estimated that CZ holds approximately 94 million BNB (worth about $57.5 billion at the current market price), making him one of the wealthiest people in the world.
