BlockBeats is pleased to announce that the registration for the Babylon Airdrop will start from 8:00 UTC on February 25 and end at 8:00 UTC on March 15.
Users will be able to create a BABY address and cryptographically link it to the Bitcoin wallet used for staking or certain other qualifying activities, in order to receive the Airdrop upon the launch of Babylon Genesis. Babylon Genesis is the first Bitcoin-protected network (BSN) and will serve as a security and liquidity coordination platform for future BSNs. Cuneiform Assets, a subsidiary of the Babylon Foundation, will be responsible for the Airdrop registration and subsequent distribution.
Stakers who miss this Airdrop registration (e.g., due to current wallet compatibility constraints) may have a second chance after the launch of Babylon Genesis.
Eligible groups for this Airdrop:
Phase 1 Stakers
Users who participated in Phase 1 staking, including those whose staking was accepted or overflowed before reaching cap 3 (up to and including Block height 875087).
Pioneer Pass NFT Holders
To thank early supporters, Pioneer Pass NFT holders are eligible for additional Airdrop allocations. The NFT holder snapshot was taken at Polygon Block 68305555 (around 7:15 UTC on February 24, 2025).
Phase 1 Finality Providers
Finality providers registered on the Babylon GitHub and delegated during Phase 1.
Eligible GitHub Contributors:
We want to recognize and reward contributions to various open-source efforts, including in the domains of Cosmos, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Shared Security, Cryptography, Zero-Knowledge Proofs, and BitVM. Babylon's development stands on the shoulders of these giants. The full list of eligible repositories can be found here. The snapshot was taken at 8:00 UTC on February 24.

Please create your BABY address following this guide.
After creating your BABY address, you can visit the Airdrop registration portal to register your BABY address and link it to your BTC address (for staking), Polygon address (for Pioneer Pass NFT), and/or Github account. Except for the Github account, the linked parties will need to provide a signature to create the cryptographic proof of ownership.
2. CLI Users
Please follow the steps below as per the guide:
1) Create your BABY address.
2) Cryptographically link your BABY address to the following:
· BTC public key (for your staking),
· Polygon address (for your NFT), and/or
· Finality provider public key.
3) Please visit this website and interact with the API to submit or remove your registration information.
