According to ChainCatcher, Sonic co-founder Andre Cronje (AC) disclosed more details about the previously teased algorithmic stablecoin project on X. When the Total Value Locked (TVL) is $10 million, the Annual Percentage Rate (APR) can exceed 200%; when TVL reaches $100 million, the APR is around 23.5%; when TVL is over $1 billion, the APR will stabilize at approximately 4.9%. AC finally stated that he will assemble a team to fully launch the project.

As previously reported, AC had posted on X last week that the team had made a technical breakthrough in the stablecoin area, but was uncertain about releasing it due to concerns about the track record's dark history.
