According to Foresight News, Aave contributor bgdlabs initiated an ARFC proposal for the Aave v3.4 version update. The changes in Aave v3.4 include: migrating custom GHO on v3 Core to standard a/v Token without requiring user migration; introducing a new position manager role with limited partial operation capabilities that can be optionally configured by each user; canceling direct flash loan fee injection to suppliers to reduce liquidity index complexity and improve the overall protocol security model; enabling the DAO to reallocate fees asynchronously, allowing suppliers and/or Umbrella token holders to protect assets; upgrading core protocol smart contracts to Solidity 0.8.27, among other updates.
