The Department of Justice noted that these funds were in USDT, originating from wallets associated with Hamas and its affiliated organizations. Since October 2024, these addresses have received over $1.5 million in cryptocurrency, representing an organized fundraising operation. The funds were consolidated into a primary wallet and transferred through multiple exchanges and over-the-counter traders in an attempt to obscure the money trail.
