According to ChainCatcher's official message, Binance Charity and CZ, the founder and former CEO of Binance, jointly launched a donation initiative. This action will donate BNB worth $1.5 million to users in Myanmar and Thailand confirmed to be residing in earthquake-affected areas, supporting local rescue efforts.
The identity verification of donation recipients will be based on users' KYC or POA information. Eligible users must complete KYC or POA certification by March 31, 2025, and will receive corresponding BNB token vouchers through the reward center before April 14, 2025.
Binance CEO Richard Teng stated: "We are deeply saddened by the devastating earthquakes in Myanmar, Thailand, and surrounding areas. We pray for the victims, their families, and all those affected by this disaster. Binance stands in solidarity with the community, hoping our efforts can bring some comfort and help during these difficult times."
