On April 1st, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink stated in his annual letter released on Monday that many people he has encountered are anxious about an economic recession. Many people's concerns stem from the uncertainty of the Trump administration's tariff policies.
Fink wrote in his letter: "I have heard from almost everyone I have spoken with that their anxiety about the economy is greater than at any time in recent memory." Earlier this month, Fink said in an interview: "The collective short-term impact is that markets are retreating. When talking to CEOs across the entire economic landscape, they say the economy is weakening."
However, in his annual letter, Fink's tone was different. He did not discuss specific details of the economic uncertainty prevalent in the financial world, but instead pointed out the resilience of capital markets in their 400-year history. (Jinshi)
