PANews reported on April 1st that zkLend officially posted on X platform: "Last night, the zkLend attacker attempted to mix 2,930 ETH of stolen funds through Tornado Cash and interacted with a known Tornado Cash phishing website, which resulted in the funds being transferred to another party. The phishing website appears to have been operating for over 5 years. Currently, the security team has no conclusive evidence suggesting a connection between the phishing website and the attacker. As a preventive measure, we have included the new wallet addresses from the phishing website in our fund tracking efforts. Since last night, there have been significant fund movements in the wallet addresses controlled by the attacker. The security team and zkLend team have been monitoring in real-time and maintaining contact with crypto exchanges (CEX) and relevant departments. We will continue to work hard to track these funds."
