According to Foresight News, the game project Infected announced its migration from Base to Solana. Infected stated, "Base cannot meet Infected's needs, and this is not just a Base issue, but a fundamental extension problem for all EVM chains. Solana also has an advantage in both cultural and user base aspects." Infected is preparing to launch more "viral" simulation games on Solana this year.
In response, Base protocol head Jesse Pollak said, "Base is functioning normally, and Infected encountered frontend issues during launch. Base has millions of users and is building a culture that encourages people to work together to create a better future." To this, Infected responded, "Initially, we thought the continuous transaction failures were due to frontend problems. It turned out that this was simply because gas prices skyrocketed."
