In my 8 years trading crypto
I've made millions by being on the right side of the market
This strategy will help you do the same.
Trade Confirmations Playbook:
In this guide I'll teach you how I;
-Use market structure to align HTF bias
-Use candlestick pattern analysis to increase win probability
-Add indicators to avoid losses on fakeouts
Let's begin:
Step 1: Identify market structure
Look for a clear sequence:
-Uptrend = Higher Highs + Higher Lows
-Downtrend = Lower Highs + Lower Lows
-Sideways = Bound between range high and low
This helps in understanding the flow of the market and form accurate HTF biases.

Next, Mark key levels
These are areas where price reacted strongly in the past. You're looking for reactions like:
-Sharp reversals
-Strong breakouts
-High-volume nodes
These become your trade decision zones to enter/ exit at.

Step 3: Candlestick Behaviour
This helps us make a binary "yes" or "no" decision:
-Has price printed a sharp wick and reversed?
-Is the candlestick a bearish engulfing candle?
-Have 2 candles closed above my level?
Confirmation filters like this align market structure and price
Eg: If HTF market structure is bullish but you spot a LTF bearish engulfing candle, relying solely on a bearish bias can be risky.
Here's a cheat sheet with common candlestick patterns to test.
Tip: No need to memorise them. Focus on candle close confirmations to start

Step 4: Indicator Confluence
This is the final layer of technical confirmations to increase win probability. I like to use Moving averages but you can pick any indicator.
Example:
-Add 7MA, 30MA, and 100MA
-Use rules like: “7MA must hold below key level to go short”
-Avoid

Finally, the most important part:
Stacking all confluences and confirmations together to set up trade triggers.
This is best done using a trade journal and my 3-step review process.
