U.S. Chamber of Commerce considers suing Trump administration to block global tariffs

According to Fortune magazine, ChainCatcher reports that two sources say the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the largest lobbying force in the American business community, is considering suing the Trump administration to block new tariffs set to take effect on Wednesday. The organization, which represents millions of businesses of all sizes and receives substantial funding from industry giants, has been weighing the possibility of taking the tariff dispute to court, with some of its larger members also urging such action. One of the sources noted that other groups may also join the Chamber in filing a lawsuit.
