PANews reported on April 11 that according to Crowdfundinsider, digital identity platform SPACE ID announced the launch of Payment ID, which connects centralized and Web3 applications, supporting cryptocurrency transfers to any address, chain, or wallet. Currently, Payment ID has been integrated into MetaMask through SPACE ID Snap and can be manually mapped to CEX deposit addresses. Integration with Binance is also about to go live, at which point digital IDs will automatically associate with all Binance deposit addresses after logging in. Integrations with other CEXs and Web3 wallets are also in progress. Creating a Payment ID requires a Gmail or Yahoo email account. SPACE ID uses a zkEmail solution based on decentralized zero-knowledge (ZK) architecture to generate ZK proofs, enabling on-chain interaction through email login while protecting user privacy.
