According to official sources, ChainCatcher reports that Circle has announced the launch of Refund Protocol by Circle Research, a smart contract designed to support stablecoin payments with non-custodial and on-chain dispute resolution, specifically built for the composability and transparency of on-chain commerce, supporting locked periods, refunds with arbitrator mediation, and early withdrawals based on off-chain agreements.
Additionally, the Refund Protocol supports on-chain dispute resolution and USDC payment refunds without the need for centralized custody or trust.
