According to ChainCatcher, ABCDE co-founder Du Jun tweeted that "ABCDE has officially stopped investing in new projects and suspended the fundraising plan for its second fund. The original team will continue to support existing projects post-investment and arrange exits, ensuring that commitments to entrepreneurs and LPs are carefully fulfilled.
I increasingly cannot agree with the current ecosystem atmosphere of the primary market: many projects are extremely short-sighted, only thinking about how to quickly list on exchanges. Even more worryingly, some primary funds not only lack reflection on this but also extensively promote the exchange listings and short-term market value performance of the projects they invested in, without ever mentioning the value creation of the projects themselves, let alone whether these projects survive healthily after listing. This is not a game I want to participate in, nor the original intention of establishing ABCDE. For me, such work is a waste of time, not a creation of value. Going forward, I hope to invest my time and resources in things that truly promote industrial progress."
