According to ChainCatcher, citing CoinDesk, Matter Labs, the company behind Layer 2 blockchain ZKSync, has been sued by BANKEX, a now-defunct digital asset banking platform, for intellectual property theft.
It is reported that BANKEX CEO Igor Khmel and the BANKEX Foundation filed a lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court on March 19, alleging that former BANKEX employees Alexandr Vlasov and Petr Korolev stole their technology to establish Matter Labs, a company that has received over $450 million in venture capital and has become a major player in the blockchain industry.
