On April 25, Samuel Cardillo, the technical director of Nike's RTFKT, posted on X platform that the CloneX and Animus Non-Fungible Token series are currently migrating to Arweave and should be back online within a few hours. RTFKT has been discussing infrastructure changes since last December, with future plans to decentralize, but internal company processes have taken some time.
Samuel Cardillo added that yesterday, the Non-Fungible Token series CloneX could no longer display art images normally on OpenSea and Blur platforms, only showing the message "This content has been restricted; using Cloudflare's basic service in this way violates the terms of service". The main reason is that the project's Cloudflare Pro plan will end on April 30, but Cloudflare unexpectedly decided to switch to a free plan a few days before the contract expires, triggering errors that refuse to stream images and videos.
