According to Foresight News, the DeSci research system supported by the Korean company ROOMCON has made significant progress. Professor Jin Yong-jin's team from South Korea successfully developed a lead-based composite superconductor sample, showing a significant reduction in electrical resistance under near-room temperature conditions. This research breaks the traditional understanding that superconductivity requires extremely low temperatures, providing new experimental evidence for room-temperature superconductivity.
Professor Jin stated that this research demonstrates how new physical behaviors can be triggered by dynamically regulating environmental variables such as temperature, voltage, and magnetic field. Multiple institutions have already submitted sample requests and cooperation proposals, with some verification experiments already underway. ROOMCON's decentralized funding mechanism has also attracted attention due to its efficiency and autonomy.
