Foresight News reports that Bitlayer, a project based on the Bitcoin ecosystem's BitVM technology, has announced the integration of BitVM Bridge with the Monad testnet, allowing users to experience cross-ecosystem BTC cross-chain functionality with minimal trust.
Monad is an emerging high-performance L1, with its current network total active users exceeding 9.8 million and independent wallet count over 69 million. After this integration, users can cross-chain vBTC from the BitVM Bridge testnet (BitVMNet) to the Monad testnet and mint corresponding YBTC. Additionally, BitVM Bridge now supports cross-chaining YBTC back to BitVMNet.
