This AI pendant records everything I wore it for 24 hours and I'm floored Here is all you need to know:

It's simple to setup I mean very simple, you just open the box and scan the QR code. Download the app and it recognises the pendant. I've added my voice so it can easily tag me in conversations. All in all 2min setup.

After setting it up, I use the lanyard that came in the box and simply hung it around my neck. Pressed the button for 2 seconds, and it started recording:

Now this is where things get interesting. Yesterday was the largest blackout in Spains history, the entire grid went down. But during the entire day my pendant recorded over 8 hours of conversations. It just kept going.

When I manage to get 5G back, it took a little while to upload the audio, but slowly it did. Then this morning when I open the app, I was stunned. This is a super power, I've augmented my memory, and I can improve on myself with tactical advice based on my previous behaviour

First thing I asked was for a diary based summary, and it's very accurate. With a little bit of tweaking on the way I ask for it, I'm certain this can become very very powerful. I will have a diary for every day, I can use this to write better diary, or to reflect more deeply on

But what happened next was the real aha moment. "things I could improve" Scary but humbling at the same time. I'll share this, even if its highly personal, because I think it's so important to highlight how these AI systems will actually help us in a very postive way

Key actions on what to improve revolves around my kids and more precise how I can improve my parenting. Obviously this lacks long-term context at this point, but regardless the feedback is on point, and I'll take it to heart.

The UI is simple, easy to use, and I can search my augmented memory whenever I need. Also the audio is stored so I can listen back to it. Memory augmentation is now achieved.

The pendant is small, lightweight, and it was recording audio for over 12 hours yesterday, and I plugged it in a 23% battery left

Some things I did not expect: I was eating a hot dog, and accidentally dropped the USB-C charging port in the topping (Ketchup and Mustard), had to wait for it to settle and dry before I could pry it out with a tooth pick. I forgot I wore it after like 10 minutes

Given that OpenAI is working closely with Jonathan Ive on some sort of hardware, I can't help but think that they are working on something in a similar manner This is a new product category that will be here to stay. After 24 hours with this thing, I can't see myself without it

I should add that it works with Swedish, English, Spanish and more, summary is made in English (by choice in the app settings). Multi-language by default.
