PANews reported on May 6th that according to Eleanor Terrett, a former Fox Business reporter, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed the decision on the Litecoin (LTC) spot ETF application submitted by Canary Capital and initiated a public comment procedure, focusing on evaluating whether the ETF meets regulatory requirements for preventing fraud and manipulation. The comment deadline is May 26th (Beijing time May 27th), and the response deadline is June 9th (Beijing time June 10th).
This delay is consistent with Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart's prediction yesterday that there is a high probability of postponing the final decision rather than directly approving or rejecting it.
