Accelerationism philosophy advocates driving technological change at any cost, while mog/acc transforms this into a spreadable visual symbol through meme methods. Solana ecosystem projects like Raydium and Jupiter have joined this movement, changing their official avatars to cats or mascots wearing Pit Vipers. Some developers even created robots that automatically generate mog/acc style avatars, which went viral within hours of launch.
This forms an interesting contrast with Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin's "defensive accelerationism" (d/acc) proposed in 2023 - which emphasizes avoiding greedy paths in technological development. Mog/acc completely strips away theoretical shells, using meme to construct an internet-native identity. Analysts point out that this approach of transforming abstract philosophy into wearable symbols is replicating the spread path of the Dogecoin "Shiba spirit" from years ago.
