ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, former SafeMoon CEO John Karony posted on social media on the first day of the New York court hearing, claiming he "did not commit fraud", insisting on his innocence, and accusing platform founder Kyle Nagy of being the mastermind behind the fund misappropriation. Nagy, who has been charged, has fled to Russia. Karony is charged with three counts including securities fraud and money laundering, with the case expected to be tried until May 26, and he is currently out on $3 million bail.
