On May 15, according to CNBC, CoreWeave, an AI infrastructure company backed by NVIDIA, reached a $4 billion cooperation agreement with OpenAI, which will significantly enhance CoreWeave's position in the AI infrastructure market and reduce its dependence on Microsoft (which accounted for 62% of its revenue in 2024). CoreWeave's 32 data centers and over 250,000 NVIDIA GPUs provide it with powerful hardware support.
CoreWeave will provide AI infrastructure to OpenAI, including GPU cloud services, to expand OpenAI's computing capabilities for training and deploying its latest models.
