It is reported that Nyan Heroes received over 250,000 player reservations on Epic and Steam platforms, with four test activities attracting more than 1 million players. The game had multiple appearances on Epic Games' popular and most-played lists and received coverage from traditional media outlets such as IGN, Business Insider, and Game Rant. Despite the project team exploring various options including distribution, new investments, subsidies, and acquisitions, they ultimately failed to raise the funds necessary to complete game development.
