According to ChainCatcher, Bybit responded on the X platform to a user's abnormal Apple ID login incident, stating that Bybit had taken immediate response and handling measures.
After receiving user feedback, the Bybit team actively responded, including core members such as COO Helen, customer service and risk control personnel, Chinese region head Tina, and the technical team, who jointly investigated. After confirmation from multiple parties, the incident was confirmed as an individual user's special case, with no systemic risks on the platform. The account KYC information was not tampered with, and funds remained secure throughout.
Currently, Bybit has completed account processing according to user requirements. Bybit reaffirms that user asset security and privacy protection are always its top priorities, and calls on users to provide timely feedback through official channels in case of any abnormalities.
ChainCatcher previously reported that Bybit users experienced face authentication failures due to an Apple ID vulnerability, blocking withdrawals of over $100,000.
