According to ChainCatcher and Cointelegraph, Revolut plans to invest over 1 billion euros (approximately 1.1 billion USD) in France and apply for a local banking license.
Revolut's representatives announced this plan at a business summit in Paris this Monday, hosted by French President Macron. The London-based neobank also plans to establish its new headquarters for serving the EU market in Paris, promising to invest 1 billion euros within three years and hire at least 200 employees.
